Claims
This is the point at which your policy proves its worth.
Most claims must be reported as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after the incident. Contact us when you need to claim.
VEHICLE CLAIMS
Do not admit liability! Record as much as you can in writing and with photographs:
- Name, address, phone number and ID number of the other party
- Reg no, type of vehicle, colour of the other vehicle
- Details of any witnesses
- Photos of the accident showing vehicle details and damages
- Report the incident to the nearest police station to the accident and get a case number. Minor bumps can now be reported online.
Complete our Accident Report Sheet to gather the important information.

If you have Car Hire cover, we will arrange that to coincide with the repairs to your vehicle.
VEHICLE GLASS CLAIMS
Submit your claim to us telephonically or use the online form.
Remember, if its just a small chip, it can usually be repaired free of charge.
You can choose to use locally manufactured glass or imported glass. Ask the supplier about these options.
BUILDING CLAIMS
Always act to reduce the loss as if you weren’t insured.
Emergency repairs to prevent access from outside or further loss may be allowed up to R 5 000.
